Tailor / Seamstress – Menswear Alterations

KCT Menswear has been dressing Southwest Michigan for over 40 years. We're a family-owned formalwear retailer with stores in Downtown Kalamazoo and Crossroads Mall in Portage, specializing in suits, tuxedos, wedding parties, prom, and custom tailoring.
Alter suits, tuxedos and dress clothes for our customers, including wedding parties and prom. You'll work at both our Portage and Downtown Kalamazoo stores, so you need to be able to travel between them.
Schedule: Part- or full-time, with more hours in prom and wedding season
What you'll do
- Alterations on suits, tuxedos and dress pants
- Jacket sleeves and sides
- Shirts and vests
- Read pin marks from fittings
- Press finished garments
- Meet wedding and prom deadlines
What we're looking for
- Sewing or alteration experience
- Menswear experience is a plus
- Strong sewers ready to learn menswear are welcome
